With the industrial upgrading of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS), electrical and electronic architectures are accelerating their transition toward 800V and even 1000V high-voltage platforms. While this leap aims to enhance charging/discharging speeds and energy efficiency, it imposes significant insulation challenges on core components like the Battery Management System (BMS) and Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU). Conventional insulation designs often result in bulky connectors, making them difficult to integrate into the increasingly cramped internal spaces of Battery Packs (PACK).
In response to these evolving requirements, JIHAI Electronics has introduced the HV49 Series—a compact high-voltage connector with a rated voltage of 1250V AC/DC. Featuring a 9.0mm profile height and a 4.0mm pitch, the HV49 Series not only meets the high-voltage dielectric performance specifications of the USCAR-37 standard but also strictly adheres to the rigorous requirements of IEC-60664-1 for creepage and clearance distances at a 1250V rating (based on Pollution Degree II and an altitude of 5000m).
